I've been reading a lot about cryptography lately. Anyone else find ciphers interesting?

just a way to encode text so it looks like gibberish. it's not real encryption.

yeah it's more for fun than actual security.
i watched a documentary about the enigma machine once. that stuff is fascinating.
enigma is old school. modern encryption uses math. prime numbers and stuff.
yeah RSA is practically unbreakable right now unless quantum computers become a thing.
